Solutions Modelling and Design Engineering
iBlocksAfrica has a both infrastructural and expertise to model and develop solutions for business model assisting firms wishing to design solution business models by categorizing capabilities and management practices necessary for the effective management of such a business model.
Typically, our developed frameworks integrate findings from a wide variety of research streams with the empirical data collected in an abductive research process of subject organization. The framework consists of a solution process with four phases (develop solutions, create demand, sell solution, and deliver solution) and three groups of cross-functionality issues (Commercialization, Industrialization, and Solution platform).
Why - Smart Modeling Solutions?
Thus, a need for a modeling tool that allows easy and quick creation of multiple scenarios, conducting “what-if” analysis to accommodate ambiguity linked with pre-projects or problem solutions forecasts. We have a right tool for your business modeling needs and we will be happy to help you in the critical step of its successful implementation.
Core Areas and Sectors iBlockAfrica works with include:-
Fire & Smoke Modeling
Smoke Management System DesignWith building designs becoming more complex, understanding the effects of fire on the structure and occupant safety is critical.
Using the Fire Dynamic Simulator (FDS) program developed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) , iBlocksAfrica can create a model to predict the effect of fire and smoke in different “WHAT IF” scenarios.

The FDS program represents state-of-the-art approaches that is currently available for evaluating life safety characteristics of a building. iBlocksAfrica may also use fire and smoke modeling to determine if the occupant will be able to exit the building or room in an acceptably-safe atmosphere.
Using a computational fluid dynamics method, this model requires extensive time and expertise to set up and run — but produces results that are much more detailed than the simpler approximations used for code-required analyses. With this program, iBlocksAfrica can calculate the effects of fires on structural elements with its heat transfer models (i.e. when the temperature rises in items like columns and beams, it can be calculated with a high-degree of fidelity and will provide information useful in determining alternate approaches to meeting code requirements for building fire resistance).
iBlocksAfrica has a team of specialists who work with clients and building officials to demonstrate compliance using engineering analysis, validations studies, and CFD studies. Our team of building code and fire safety engineering professionals has extensive knowledge in the use of fire engineering principles, smoke control and management principles, and life and fire safety principles.
In addition, our team is well versed in the use of various cutting-edge fire and smoke simulation software to provide alternative solutions to the prescribed acceptable solutions in the Building Codes.
